How to Switch the Binance App to Chinese

Why You May Need to Manually Switch the Language

Many users find the interface is in English when they first install the Binance App. This is because the App defaults to a language based on your phone's system language or the region selected during registration. If your phone's system language is set to English, or you chose a non-Chinese region during registration, the App will display in English. Fortunately, Binance supports many languages, and switching to Chinese is very simple.

Note that Binance offers both "Simplified Chinese" and "Traditional Chinese" options. Mainland users should typically select Simplified Chinese. Switching languages only changes the interface display — it won't affect your account information, trading history, or any settings.

Switching Steps for Android and iOS

Android:

Open the Binance App and tap the profile icon or menu icon in the upper-left corner to enter your profile. Find and tap "Settings." In the settings list, find the "Language" option and tap it to see the language list. Select "Simplified Chinese" from the list. The App will automatically refresh and switch to the Chinese interface.

iOS:

The iOS process is essentially the same as Android. Open the App, go to your profile, find the settings page, select the language option, then choose "Simplified Chinese" from the list. Some iOS versions may also require adjusting the language in your phone's system settings: go to "Settings" > "Binance" > "Language" and select Simplified Chinese.

If you haven't installed the Binance App yet, you can first get the latest version from Download App, then follow the steps above to switch languages after installation.

Things to Note After Switching

After switching the language, most content in the App will display in Chinese, including menus, button labels, and help documents. However, some content may remain in English, such as trading pair names (like BTC/USDT, which are English abbreviations by nature), certain announcements in their original language, and some automated customer service responses.

If you need the English interface for reference when learning terminology for certain features, you can switch back to English in settings at any time — switching back and forth has no impact whatsoever.

Also, the language settings for the Binance web version and App version are independent. Switching to Chinese on the App won't automatically sync to the web version — you'll need to change it separately using the language toggle in the upper-right corner of the web page. Visit the Binance official website, and you'll find the language switch button at the top of the page — the operation is straightforward.
