Why Transfer Between Platforms?
Many crypto users use multiple exchanges simultaneously. When you need to move assets from OKX, Bybit, Gate, or others to Binance, you perform a cross-platform transfer: initiating a withdrawal on the source exchange, sending funds through the blockchain to your Binance deposit address.
If you do not have a Binance account, sign up for Binance first to get a deposit address.
Preparation
Confirm Binance Supports the Coin
Search for the coin on the Binance deposit page. If it does not appear, convert it to a supported coin on the source platform first.
Find a Mutually Supported Network
This is the most critical step. For USDT, both OKX and Binance support ERC20, TRC20, and BEP20. Choose the same network on both sides.
Recommendations: TRC20 for lowest fees and fast speed. BEP20 for low fees. ERC20 for high security on large transfers. Solana for maximum speed.
Check Fees and Limits
Each exchange has different withdrawal fees. Ensure your transfer amount minus fees exceeds the minimum deposit threshold on Binance.
Steps from OKX to Binance
Get your Binance deposit address via the Binance app. On OKX, go to Assets, select Withdraw, paste the Binance address, select the matching network, enter the amount, complete security verification, and wait for arrival.
Steps from Bybit to Binance
The process is similar: on Bybit, go to Assets, select Withdraw, fill in the Binance deposit address and matching network, complete verification, and wait.
Important Details
Network Names May Differ
BEP20 on one platform might be BSC or BNB Smart Chain on another. ERC20 may be labeled Ethereum. Confirm they refer to the same chain.
Whitelist Settings
If you have withdrawal whitelists enabled on the source exchange, add the Binance deposit address first.
Withdrawal Limits
Each exchange has daily limits by verification level. If your amount exceeds the limit, split into multiple transactions or upgrade verification.
FAQ
Will I be charged fees twice?
No, only once. The source exchange charges the withdrawal fee. Binance typically does not charge for deposits.
What if the source exchange is under maintenance?
Wait until maintenance ends. Already-sent withdrawals are not affected since the transaction is already on the blockchain. After signing up for Binance you can wait for arrival normally.
Security Tips
Use official apps on both platforms. Do not click quick transfer links from chat groups. Test with a small amount before large transfers. Download the Binance app from official sources to ensure a safe operating environment.
